This, of course, was met with a stream of vituperation and waves of publicity. The lying press was working overtime to condemn us and get any official they could find to come out against the “white supremacists.”
The reactions varied from outright threats, to purposeful fear mongering, to nonsensical platitudes of equality for all.
As applications roll in from these liberal campuses at which we have been assured we are not welcome, one thing should be clear. The American Vanguard is here to stay.
Here are some highlights of the coverage:
“It’s extremely concerning,” Saatsaz said. “I believe in free speech, but the propagation of an ideology fundamentally dehumanizing to so many members of our community has no place on our campus. Normalizing that sort of rhetoric has dangerous implications.” – Quote from The Dentonite
“According to WFAA, police are investigating the “white nationalist propaganda” fliers that appeared in Wooten Hall and other UNT areas this week. Including appalling headlines such as “we have a right to exist,” and “White America is under attack,” at least six of these fliers have been uncovered and taken down. – Editorial via North Texas Daily
“The messages are something Davis called shocking and suspicious. “They could potentially be dangerous,” he said.
While the posted signs aren’t illegal, campus police say they are in violation of university policy.” – Story via WFAA
“We’re all pretty outraged at the thought that someone would put those around, especially with a campus that’s as diverse as Texas State,” junior Reba Jenson told KVUE in Austin. – Quote via International Business Times
“Business administration senior Bilal Ayub, on behalf of the UTD Muslim Council, which represents the Muslim Student Association, Alpha Lambda Mu, Mu Delta Alpha and Islamic Relief at UTD, expressed shock and disgust at the fliers.
“What we’d like to see is more immediate action from the university’s administration,” Ayub said. “We expect these individuals — students if they happen to be students — to be held accountable, for this case to be investigated.” – Story via The Mercury
“The organization has been posting flyers on various college campuses for months in what appears to be an attempt to gain attention, with its Twitter account retweeting official responses and news media reports about the flyers.” – Story via The Rice Thresher
